The Zhejiang Institute of Modern Physics (ZIMP) is a leading research center for theoretical physics in China. Since its foundation in 1991 by Nobel laureate T. D. Lee, ZIMP has acquired a strong research team in the directions of field theory and particle physics, condensed matter theory, astrophysics, statistical physics, quantum information, as well as nuclear science and technology.
