Sino-German Workshop on Novel Concepts in Disordered and Interacting Quantum Systems

General Information

This Sino-German workshop will gather researchers from different areas of condensed matter physics, including strongly correlated electron materials, nanoscale and mesoscopic systems, and ultra-cold atomic gases, with the common objective of deepening our understanding of the effects of strong disorder and interactions on the collective behavior of these systems. A special goal of the workshop is to help establish and broaden research contacts between scientists in China and in Germany, with the aim of stimulating long-term research collaborations among participants. The workshop is jointly organized by Karlsruhe University and Zhejiang University, and sponsored by the Sino-German Center for Research Promotion.
